Match report Strathmore batted first and Darri and Marc took out the top 5 which included notable innings from Hewitson and Ellis. This brought in Steve Blackie and he notched up a brilliant 58 with a mix of big bashing and subtle strike retention as he dragged out the innings whilst the tail end looked somewhat unstable. 2 run outs didn't help the Strathmore cause, but it was brought to an end when Pradeep bowled Blackie, and then removed Gibb as he took 2 for 0, and Strathmore were all out for 167.
Nipun made a steady start in reply with 31, and Jason got a quick 14, but this was all about Mayank as he played a controlled innings to turn the game in favour of Gordonians. It was a surprise when Mayank got out for 57 and we stuttered to victory in the 42nd over with Rahul unbeaten on 18.
