The GJCC has been running for the last 5-6 years and caters for
players from 5 to 17. We have 5 active coaches covering sessions on Monday and Wednesday evenings outdoors at Countesswells.
Our juniors are split in to 3 separate sections depending on their ability. Beginners have fun and play softball cricket and the Intermediate and Advanced groups play hardball cricket with the Advanced group being integrated in to senior cricket as and when appropriate.
In 2019 all our age group sides qualified for their respective National Finals Day following on from our Under 13s who were National Champions in 2018. In 2021 our Under 13s and Under 15s also qualified for National Finals Day.
Sessions cover basic cricketing techniques / skill sets as well as hand eye
co-ordination & speed, strength and agility training that will aid
in not only cricketing development but in general sporting development
as well.
