GORDONIANS SIGN PRO FOR 2014

23 Feb 2014

The club are delighted to announce that Professional Hamish Lewis will join the club for the 2014 season. Hamish is a young New Zealander but already has a wealth of experience.

Hamish has played the past two seasons in England, in 2012, he scored 745 runs at 28.62. He had two centuries along with 38 wickets across the grades but scored 227 runs for Berkhamsted first team and took 9 wickets.

Last year Hamish played for Portslade in England scoring 350 runs at 26.92 along with 11 wickets.

Along with Hamish, an amateur will be arriving at the club as well for the 2014 season. Mitch McMullan will be travelling to join up with the squad by mid April.

Everyone at the club would like to welcome both players and we hope they enjoy their time in Aberdeen and Scotland. We would also like to say a big thank you to our sponsors Arrowdawn. Without their support signing a Pro would not be an option for the club and their considerable contribution to the club over the last few years cannot be understated.
